Christmas Day 2011: The Launch...
Christmas Day 2011 was the miraculous launch of the wonderful Help Us Help Others Gala! Our Founder and Organizer, Camille Gaydos, shared a deep conviction with close friends to find a creative platform to financially support both local and international noteworthy missions that needed encouragement and funds! Camille has deep conviction that the Lord loves each and every individual around the world!! After the first sold out Gala, guests have now coined the affection acronym : the HUHO Gala year after year..
After the first HUHO Gala, within minutes of the first medical 40 foot container that was shipped to the Bekah jungle community's new medical center in Cameroon Africa, the labor and delivery suite was accessed resulting in having a beautiful little girl born! Since 2011, 200 babies have since been born and now have birth certificates which for the first time, qualify them to get free education and health insurance!
Local missions in New England are also close to the hearts of the HUHO Gala guests.. Please see our History Page to view the numerous local charities that have been strengthened with thousands of dollars each year through the generosity of the HUHO Gala guests, donors, and sponsors.
The HUHO's adult and youth team's passion for raising funds through bringing the community together to support noteworthy missions that provide practical, academic and medical missions has stirred people's hearts from all over New England and beyond to join in and participate in this wonderful annual Gala!
Help Us Help Others Gala has been featuring some of New England's top musicians, bands, choral groups, artists, youth leaders and local as well as start up businesses. Some of our wonderful sponsors have been KW Realtors in Bedford, Lavallee and Brinsinger Architects, Popovers, Red Sox, Patriots, Bleu Tangerine, Tuscan Kitchen, Popovers at the Brickyard, Atkinson Country Club, Zorvino's Vineyards, and Angela's Wine and Cheese Shoppe. The support continues with the Palace Theatre in Manchester, the Puritan Backroom, CopperDoor Restaurants, the Boston Ballet, North Shore theatre, Pentucket Bank, The Five Cent Saving Bank as well as well as many others! Political leaders from both sides of the aisle have overwhelmingly endorsed this event as well!
Now in it's 10th year, Camille and her HUHO Adult and award winning HUHO Youth Team's main prayer is to ask the Lord to move people's hearts to help with their resources and talents to create a beautiful evening which provides for the poorest families in our area and beyond! An Evening in Paris will be exciting, inspirational and bring joy to so many both locally and around the world! See the testimonies/reflections of guests from past events!
